Rouses Market - Daphne

I had heard about rouses right after it opened several years ago. I have always wanted to go and because we went to Mobile for the afternoon we stopped by on the way home. I think they have just about any type of food or beer you could want. There is fresh seafood, produce, a hot bar/ deli and a place to sit and eat. It was a really nice experience. Can't wait to go back

I purchased a container of Watermelon sitting on ice today. When I'm paying 4.49 it shouldn't be so tough it could bounce on the floor. No it was not discounted. It was by the door as you come it. I wasthere about 1:15 today. If we are paying for it it should be somewhat edible.

Routes Market is a great regional supermarket with locations spread throughout Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana. The company was started in 1960 and has grown considerably by offering quality food at a decent price point in an attractive store setting.Again, the store has a very pleasing ambiance for a supermarket and has a great layout. I liked that they had a salad bar station and an olive bar station and I did spend a bit of time perusing a shelf specifically for products made in the state of Alabama.Karma was the name of the girl who checked me out and she was extremely friendly and professional. She is a fine representative of Rouses Market and Rouses Market is fortunate to have Karma on their team.All in all, Rouses Market is a great supermarket and I would definitely recommend this particular location of Rouses Market. I will give it five stars overall.

The cashier commented on every item I was buying, which became quite frustrating. To any cashiers reading this: please don’t do that—it's very annoying!
