Bistrot Caserne 409 - Danville

Only place to eat in town, but pretty good. The smoked meat sandwich is amazing and filling.

First, this is a local restaurant. so yes, the hours are limited, but if they have the opportunity to go when it is open, it is worth it. the product is super fresh and usually local. they even have some local drink that makes the difference of all the other restaurants I have tried so far. the personal was always nice. it is...not rare to see that the owners work on the floor to make sure everything is perfect.

Eating is fresh and good, but too often they present a plate with a side of chips. I think the presentation is not so good for the price. some meals are really well thought out.

The service was excellent. We came with a group of 12 without a reservation, and the staff was impeccable. The food was delicious, and there was a fantastic selection to choose from.

The atmosphere was wonderful, the daily special was delightful, and the prices were very reasonable.
