Awesome place to eat. Great food and great service. Got Jerk Chicken with beans and rice and plantains. Wife got the same with side salad. Chicken was nice and spicy and fell off the bones! Plantains were delicious too. Highly recommend if you're in Danville on Riverside drive(hwy 58). View all feedback.
What Lorrie Bray doesn't like about Emmanuel Caribbean American Cuisine:
Didn 't have any roti (they were out) and said the patties take to long to cook I am a vegetarian so basically couldn 't eat there. Still had to pay for my sip of tea. Apparently, FYI if you want a pattie of any sort you have to order it 30 minutes in advance that 's what other people do that is what I was told by the boss . I didn 't know. View all feedback.
I really wish the local community would support them more. The food has always been authentic and delicious even before the new establishment (IYKYK).
Man oh man where do I start. This is a family owned restaurant. Family is from the Barbados Finger licking good oxtail (very meaty) I also had the jerk chicken and it ain’t nothing to sleep on, has different heat levels. They truly make it with love when preparing your meal. I wish I had this back home. My colleague has been to the Caribbean and he says this place tops it. Definitely a favorite.

We have been to Danville once before to handle some family business and seriously regretted our dining out experiences here until now. We happened across Emmanuel's on a random Monday night on our second visit and I have to say, we now know you can find a great meal in this city. I love carribean and island fare, and they did not disappoint with any of the dishes. The wings were fresh and well cooked, and the fries were perfect. I tried some of the rice as well, and it was so well made. Flavorful, not sticky and seasoned with an excellent blend of spices. We were told their karaoke on the weekends is a blast, and we wil be sure to check it out on a future visit. Shout out to our server Romario, who was attentive, had great menu suggestions and a great conversationalist!
