Still good place for a solid meal . In my opinion the current economic climate is impacting there ability to deliver the food and service from just few yrs.

Still one of the best homemade burger joints in town ever since I was a kid

Husband and I love the burger basket. However, since the pandemic 4 years ago they have made us feel like we were being slopped. They serve you a burger wrapped in thin sandwhich paper and your fries on the table. No plate! No tray! No basket! They have the stack of baskets sitting above the grill but refuse to use them. I guess it cost too much to wash a few baskets.Furthermore, the price of the burger basket has jumped up by at least 3.00 each. So our bill was 22.00 after tax for two burgers, two fries, and two sodas! Without tip included!!! We can go to McDonald's and get the same thing, for the same price without having to eat off the table! My advice is USE THE BASKETS!!!!!!

I’ve always gone here since i was little and i still always ask to come here when we visit!! i love how kind everyone is and how amazing the food is! its the best and i love the brownies and cookies!! this is my number one place to recommend in all of virginia, i love the things they have on the walls too and the ice cream and gumball machines. the food is going to blow your mind! you’ll never wanna leave!!

Rubens has always been amazing and needs more recognition.
