Hubs grew up in Danville and has been visiting his in-laws here for years. This new restaurant is a fantastic addition to Danville's dining scene. I had the shrimp, which was generously coated in a hot, spicy butter garlic sauce. It was served with some small grilled corn and two small carrots, all drenched in that delicious sauce. There was also a lot of real chopped meat, which was fantastic. While it’s slightly pricey, it’s comparable to what you'd pay at places like Olive Garden or Texas Roadhouse. Overall, we look forward to going back!
Our meal was delicious and served quickly! We were in and out in under an hour, and our server was truly fantastic!
The seafood was really good for a small town in the southern va. I had the fried garnel and my family had crabcakes and chicken teeth. I love sweet potatoes so I was thrilled that they had them and they were not disappointed! our waitress was very friendly and attentive. we will definitely come back!
Despite its presence has a chain throughout the southeast United States, Red Crab in Danville seems to be one of the hot spots for Cajun Boil Style food.The excellent staff provide an incredible reason to come back time and time again, in addition to the delivered flavor and presentation of a lot of the menu offerings.Don't wear anything that you can't afford to have stains on as the food is capable of being quite messy... gloves and plastic bibs are offered, just beware!The only downside I've had with here is that the kitchen staff sometimes seems to be almost asleep at the wheel so there's at least in my case about a 20% chance that there's going to be something incorrect with your order (things like forgetting to add seasoning, or replacing ordered items with other items, or forgetting things entirely) which is quickly remedied by the serving staff present.All in all and overall great experience and one of the top spots in Danville, VA.I highly recommend this place.
