Montana Mike's Steakhouse - Danville

Without a doubt, this is one of the best sirloin steaks I've ever had. It was cooked medium rare to absolute perfection! I highly recommend the Apple Wood Speck-covered sirloin. The side dish was a fantastic complement to the meal.

Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. Very cheap and generous portions. Refilling on drinks never ran dry. Steaks are well prepared and reliant. Recommended Prime Rib-lacks Taste (December 2019) Onion rings could use some spices (as of December 2019). I'd like to see you again.

I don't know where to begin! My fiancée and I are new to the Danville, Illinois area, and this was our first visit to Montana Mike's. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted with smiles, as we were a party of nine.

The service was good, though it took a few minutes for me to get it. However, my wait didn't go unnoticed by the other staff. One of the waiters from another section promptly came to assist me, and he attended to my needs for the rest of my visit. The fried zucchini was a bit overly seasoned for my taste, but the fillet, along with the potatoes in brown sauce and mushrooms, was excellent.

Food is good and if you want a big steak this place has them. Make sure it is cooked your way, sometimes they ain't. The inside and out of the building needs remodeling. Parking in the back it is easy to notice years of grease from their hood over their grill. It runs down the roof and wall of the building. Manager helps the staff, that's a good sign.
