Melo's Pizza Pasta - Danville

This restaurant became my favorite pizza place. We always order the veggies pizza, garlic bread, and appetizers or salad. Everything is delicious, well prepared and salad is so crisp and fresh. The service is OK and it has a very casual vibe.

I haven't been to Melo's in years. Place was packed on a random Wednesday night. Great selection of food and beer. I ordered the Chicken Parm Sandwich. Others ordered the Eggplant Parm Sandy and the Spaghettini al Pamodoro with Shrimp. Was really looking forward to it, unfortunately we all said basically the same thing...was good but not great. Basically tasted rather bland. The sauce for the Spaghettini tasted simply like tomato sauce with no spices. I could say the same for the Chicken Parm, but that had some yummy cheese...still had to dress it up with some red pepper flakes. Not saying I won't go there again, b/c I'm sure it was just an off day and they are worth another try. On the plus side the Garlic Fries were legit.

My go to Italian food place. I eat here often. All their food is very good, chicken marsella, burrata, and ceaser salad w/grilled chicken are my favs.

I have only ever gotten takeout from here but my interactions with staff have been good. The pizza is decent if a bit pricy (not always crispy in the center and i wish they cut up their tomatoes more).

Excellent pizzas with choices of crust. Many toppings to choose from. Fast service and friendly staff. I will definitely go back. The cost is higher than average pizza parlor but it is worth it. Plenty of parking in the shopping center.
