Jimmy John's - Danville

This place has gone downhill. they often open late and close early. It's 8:45 as of writing this, and the doors are locked. But they have a sign saying they close at 10 pm. The sandwiches sizes are a hit and a miss anyone as well. Sometimes, they are the correct size, and Sometimes, they are a couple inches bigger or shorter. They are no longer freaky fast. Expect to wait 5-10 minutes for your food.

Food was as expected. Atmosphere was Jimmy johns. But service was a far far cry from freaky fast. Waited almost 6 minutes for 2 subs...as an ex manager of a Jimmy John's I was not only not impressed but kinda upset by their slowness...

Why did I literally just watch a drug deal between the register worker and a customer while waiting for and uber order that hasn't even been started. Management needs to review cameras from 830 pm to 845 pm Wednesday night. JUNE 26, 2024. you'll see your register girl, first ignore me for 5 minutes then see the customer come up, whisper something and the worker will walk in the back, come up to register and hand the customer a bundle wrapped up behind her back as she's bending over. I mean efficient for quick deals, but takes forever to make sandwiches.

Food is typical quality you would expect minus some occasionally very stale bread, but the service is painfully slow most of the time. Even when there is almost no one in the store getting a single sandwich takes a long time. And just don’t order from the app, does not save time.

So far I’ve been waiting 50 minutes for a mobile order of an Unwich. Nothing fancy. Still no sandwich in sight. Anyone who came into the restaurant and ordered at the counter were in and out in minutes. PSA: the app is NOT faster. Just order inside.
