The cinnamon rolls at this restaurant are amazing, and I've heard that the rest of their food is pretty good too! However, it's not a great spot for those who don't enjoy engaging with locals. The staff are welcoming when customers arrive, but they tend to stick to their own tables and conversations. The owner is very friendly though, and there are many delicious baked goods available to take home or order from the menu to enjoy in the restaurant or to-go.
The Danish Bakery has the best breads and pastries, but their Thursday pizza special is truly outstanding. I recently dined at their location on 33rd Street in the 70s, and it was hands down the best pizza I've ever had. The Danish Bakery really knows how to make a delicious pie with plenty of cheese, flavorful toppings, and perfectly cooked crust. I can't wait to try their other menu items as well.
This is the best pizza you will ever find! I challenge you to eat more than one piece because it is so filling. The cookies are also amazing, especially the unique brezel pecan flavor. I love this place!
Great place to eat or get baked goods. Definitely worth checking out.
I'm so addicted to these scrumbling kolachen! They always make sure everything I ask is done. (how sweet is that?! apricot is of course my favorite, but I am quite part of the strawberry and cream cheese. no preservatives and simply amazing with the topping!? the Thursday night pizza is a busy night and with locals who order before the time and pick it up home. some sit and eat. the personal for this “not from here girl” was warm and welcoming and she first institution in nebraska who welcomed me with open poor. it's so beautiful! it is difficult to travel for work and they let me feel at home from the first moment when I entered the door. it is with vintage tableware, vintage photos from thenebrog history and games in the corner for the children. with various coffee cups (my favorites.) very juicy and cozy. simple small town charm with a Danish touch that has left a sign on this Texas girl heart forever!
