What User doesn't like about Jaxson's Ice Cream Parlor:
This restaurant is located in a charming old building and has a unique atmosphere. It gets pretty busy during dinner time and can be noisy due to the sound effects they use. I ordered a large garden salad for $14 which was satisfying. I also tried the vegan vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce, which had a unique texture and melted quickly but still tasted great. There are many flavors of ice cream to choose from at this restaurant. I tried the pistachio and coffee fudge, both of which were excellent. The service was quick and there were plenty of options on the menu. One of my friends ordered the Death by Chocolate flavor and also enjoyed it. I think one scoop is quite generous in size; I ordered two scoops and found it to be too much to finish.
The service, food, and ice cream were excellent. There were many delicious items that were made from scratch. You could taste how fresh everything was. The only downside is that the prices have been significantly raised. It cost $225 for five of us to eat lunch and have ice cream. This will definitely discourage me from going back.
This ice cream parlor is a classic and reliable spot that never changes. Ice cream is a comforting treat that this place excels in. My go-to combination is white chocolate macadamia and chocolate almond. I dare anyone to be upset while holding a cone of ice cream!
Such a cute little place that?s apparently been in business for well over 50 years. I had the fried shrimp that were pretty good, husband had a burger that was delicious and the kids had a hot dog with fries, that were good they said, but the bun wasa bit dry, not a huge deal. Ice creams were also tasty and the servings were generous. With friendly service I?d call this asuccess. Drawback, little pricy for what you?re getting but thats pretty common these days. There was a terrible smell outsidewhere we we?re waiting but probably not the restaurant fault. I?ll definitely come back but will probably get a burger nexttime.
This location is definitely a staple in South Florida. We visited this place after catching a comedy show at the Improv. We hadn 't been here in years, so we were very excited to visit and get some yummy ice cream! We decided to order from the "to-go "window since we didn 't want to wait for a table inside. There were two distinct lines for table service and to-go orders. Wewaited in line for a bit, as it was definitely busy. Basically, you 're standing on the sidewalk next to the parkinglot/driveway. The good thing is, you can read the menu board while waiting in line, so you know what to order when it 's yourturn. We both had the sundae where you pick two flavors of ice cream and one topping. We didn 't wait long at all once weordered, and within a few minutes, were enjoying our ice cream treats. Overall, this is a good location. The only downside isthat there isn 't an outside area to sit and enjoy to-go orders. You either eat in your car or hang out on the sidewalk to eatthe ice cream. I would visit again if I were in the area!
