Service is friendly and quick. We ordered the Idaho Girl Skillet, the Southwest Omelet, and two of the delicious turnovers. Everything was tasty and filling. It’s neat to sit and watch the kitchen through the large window, and see them making more turnovers! What a delightful little spot! View all feedback.

This was the second time I went into the mothership the first time I had a cheese Danish and it was good so I figured I would try again but, they were out of cheese Danishes so I was offered a cheese cake muffin and it was stale and I also bought a to go cup with coffee in it and it was really burnt and when I dumped it out it had a whole mess of coffee grounds at the bottom. This place is amazing ! Food is great, lots of GF options
Mothership on Main and the food there are both different and interesting. Always very busy.
OWNER/ANNA: loyal customer for years. I literally felt compelled to leave you a message.Order takeout. Early morning quick work break. My order had eggs in it. Meal ready upon arrival.I ordered some pastries separately and then a latte. It was exactly 13 minutes that I’m waiting and waiting and no latte. The young lady who took my order does see I’m just waiting and waiting and says nothing.I walk over to the counter and I ask Will. He knows a regular face. Will figure it out and addresses the young woman on how this went overlooked privately. Will is always a class act and a tremendous presence at Mothership. Naturally, HE Was apologetic. Not the young lady who walked past me five more times and who I will say, never seems to have a smile on her face.OK, so to the point. Common and expected customer service for such an error would have been to give Me the Latte “on the house” And reimburse me. Or, for God sake, give the woman a cookie while she’s standing in there waiting and her food is getting cold.Go back to work, was late and the egg was gross so I threw that out and ate the short rib and hash. Truthfully, this very same scenario happened to me a few months back with a smoothie. Please, even even Cracker Barrel goes around with a plate full of cornbread and biscuits, honey, and butter when people are waiting too long. Thank you, Teri

My rating is really 2.5 stars. I don’t want to give 3 stars bc that would be too high when you take it all into consideration. When I first started ordering from here 3 years ago I would have given 4 stars, but since the quality has decreased. Freshness of the food is the best aspect, however packaging and prep of food is thoughtless. I ordered a grilled cheese with a side of roasted potatoes and it came out to $9.50. Expensive for what I received. We’re in Danbury, not Greenwich. The cheese was melted on two huge brioche slices. Once you place a large absorbable piece of bread onto a grill it will soak up all the grease from the grill. Of course you can argue why not order another type of bread and would have, had I known the size and thickness of the brioche slice in advance such as a description or image of what to expect. Plus cooking logic tells you it’s not a good idea to offer that type of bread for that particular sandwich. Second, I requested spinach and there were roughly 4 pieces of withered spinach leaves soaked into the cheese. Third, the sandwich was wrapped in material that will not release steam so the bread retained moisture. I have no idea what cheese it came with because it wasn’t listed on their menu which has had typos on it for years. For these reasons I threw most of it away and picked on small pieces. Last, the roasted potatoes I ordered as a side was oily. It was only oily potatoes with no sort of a small amount of veggies to add flavor and quality. Such as perhaps a few scallions and peppers. I can purchase an entire 5lb bag of potatoes for $3.25. Also roasted potatoes should not be oily. That too was served in a container which retained moisture so I’m lucky I live close and picked it up quickly otherwise it would’ve been entirely inedible although most of it was thrown away as well. I haven’t ordered a smoothie in several months because they now charge for the cup it comes in. I’m sure you can come up with a lot of reasons to do that but that is weird for a drink that was already overpriced. The parking garage and parking in front is awkward. If there was a better local place in Danbury to buy breakfast from I would be there in a heartbeat. Unfortunately due to the lack of quality breakfast competition in the area I find myself reluctant to order from this location. At least they attempt to offer gluten free items, freshly baked and health based items such as smoothies and fresh salads so that is why I’m giving 2.5 stars. To hear that they may or have opened up new locations I can only assume it must be due to what they charge for food and the appeal of the fresh selection offered, and little to do with the location, price, quality and packaging.
