Mandi's Wings - Danbury

Under the radar great pizza spot. Very flavorful slice here today, excellent crispy thin crust and reheated just the right amount. Nicely priced as well, I'll be through again!

This little place is well worth a visit. It's hidden up in north Danbury at the intersection of Rt 39 and Padanaram Rd, next to the 7-11. Doesn't look like much, but the pizza is top notch and salads are high quality. Plus the staff is cheerful and friendly.

Just perfect... small, with excellent pizza, pasta, and appetizers... the Brussel Sprouts are fabulous! Come here to eat, for gosh sake!

As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed by an amazing aroma that made me want to order a pizza right away. I chose a medium-sized takeout Margherita pizza, and it was ready in just 15 minutes! To my surprise, my 93-year-old mother, who usually doesn't eat much pizza, finished four slices! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a wonderfully thin crust. I wholeheartedly give this charming little restaurant a big thumbs up. They also have a dine-in area, but they don't serve beer or wine; however, the staff informed me that you can bring your own.

The food is fantastic, and the delivery is prompt. I'm a big fan of the eggplant Florentine pizza, though the plain cheese pizza is equally delicious. The sauce has a lovely sweetness to it. The crust is superb, just the perfect thickness. Great job!
