excellent. we live in nj and that was far above the standards used by us. so many more options on the menu that eating was fresh, rasred super. the server was also excellent. the howell nj and parsippany nj must make a few lections. View all feedback.
What Pat Christiansen doesn't like about Applebee's Grill:
Service has gotten worse and worse as the time goes. I only go there like once every two months cause of my children, but last time I went my daughter's boneless wings were undercooked and I saw the waitress going outside to smoke for like 10 mins, and by the time she came to check on us, we had our entrees and everyone's water needed to be refilled. My daughter and I had lunch at this restaurant on Sunday afternoon. We were seated promptly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Our waiter provided excellent service. We decided to order the mozzarella for our meal.
I have not had a meal this bad in a long time. I would give the food 1 star, but it is slightly redeemed by the fantastic service. Our server was very attentive.
I visited this restaurant last night and had a great experience! Although the parking lot appeared full, the restaurant itself was not too crowded. We were seated immediately.
Jean-Claude c has been the best server for months! he is friendliness and love to detail is amazing! nice to meet him and we will visit again!
Have used Applebees takeout from time to time, and usually pretty good. This time: stale chips with the spinach/artichoke dip, minimum sauce on ribs, (paid for extra) had to add my own at home, fries luke warm and rubbery, must have been sitting awhile in kitchen, because I was on time for pickup. Overall much worse quality than I was used to. Unlikely I'll use take out again, and don't really like their indoor dining atmosphere.
