Contribute Feedback What Brian Chang likes about Tofu And Bbq House:
Entrance is through Kukje, which explains how this restaurant can have the biggest menu, fresh ingredients, and just about everything available in takeout packaging. This is a must try, especially if you plan on eating before shopping. I have many memories of reluctantly spending time at Korean grocery stores growing up. Now as a parent, I look forward to sharing this nostalgia with my kids! View all feedback.
What Un Seng Chio doesn't like about Tofu And Bbq House:
Kukje supermarket is great, but the restaurant inside is not as great as you’d hope. The food isn’t cheap and the dishes are hit or miss. Occasionally there are discounts for certain items, so be sure to check the supermarket flyer. Wouldn’t recommend the jajangmyeon, jjamppong was ok, and the naengmyeon was good but pricey. I would still come back to try more. View all feedback.
Consistently good food. Not terrible, but also not great food. Like 7/10 food.Decent service, workers are friendlyGenerally okay vibes in here
Now the food is usually alright for supermarket food and a good alternative when you don't want to wait or splurge on other Korean restaurants in the area. Today though, when I bit into the fried chicken, the meat was dry yet the batter it was still wet inside. I also ordered one jajangmyeon, however they were skimpy with the sauce although every other visit they are quite generous. Food disappointed during this visit and the only time we were able to get any assistance was if we used the button to call over the server. I typically would excuse bad service and still tip, but combined with the poorly prepped servings I did not. I usually come here for a quick bite before work or an event and tip when the experience was good, but the middle aged waitress followed us out for the tip. Sanitary issue: When we received take out containers, the same waitress gave us the plastic containers with her hand on the inside of the container.
The little restaurant inside Kukje market is finally re-opened. I had a California roll $5.50 and a beef bibimbap $18. The food here is not bad. I enjoyed the little dishes of kimchi. The meal also included a paper cup of miso soup. I liked how the bibimbap had the hard pieces of rice on the bottom. There were plenty of beef with chopped vegetables mixed in there. The fried egg on top was runny inside. Great job restaurant crew at Kukje!

This restaurant is located inside a Korean grocery store, and the food is delicious. I'm not quite sure about the hot tea being served in a glass, though—it can be quite painful! Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.
