I've always been to St. Francis Plaza for Supreme Pot, but I've kept eyeing TC Pastry for the longest time. My fiance always told me his mom used to get dim sum here all the time growing up. Upon arrival, there is plenty of parking. However, some of the pathways might be a hassle to get around since Pacific Supermarket closed. There's usually a long line out the door, but it moves pretty fast. I'd recommend bringing a jacket since it gets pretty cold waiting in line, and BRING CASH. They do not accept card! If you forget to bring cash, there is a liquor store a few stores down that have an ATM. To be honest, the past few weekends have been just coming here to eat. We've been going to TC Pastry and getting dim sum here. It's SO good. It's nothing fancy, but the flavors here are great. We usually get the following: -1 order siu mai I believe 3 for $3+ -1 order of har gow 3 for $3+ -1 pound of chow mein $4+ per pound -1 order of spicy fried wonton 4 for $2+ -1 order of turnip cake 3 for $4+ I think We got to try the shrimp and cilantro dumplings, as well as the egg tarts too. I have tried the porridge not my fav due to the egg , the Chinese donut very stale when i tried it , and the sweet plain buns pure nostalgia . Our order usually turns out to be around $32+ dollars. The menu is limited to the same things each day, but they're made pretty well. I have to say that the only thing I wished for was that all the items you get were warm to the touch. Sometimes they are left on trays where they've been sitting out. The only thing that comes out warm would be the noodles, porridge, and dim sum. Anything else is left under a light or tray. I'll definitely be back to get more dim sum since it's pretty good! Super cheap and close by to wear I live.

Food: The dim sum here is quite good. I like their shrimp dumplings. Their pork siu may is also delicious, although it was much better a few years ago, but again, it's still delicious. Another must is their spicy fried wontons which are flavored with curry they're bite sized, crunchy, super savory, and fun to eat! But my favorite of all is their triangle shaped char siu sow (BBQ pork pastry turnover) they're flaky, savory and hearty. So yummy. Service: Service is just so so, as expected from any takeout dim sum shop. The shop can be pretty busy even in the afternoon/early evening, but the service is typically pretty fast. Ambiance: The shop is really meant for take out service so don't expect any tables for people to sit at, so it's impossible to rate the ambiance.

They kept asking if I needed any more of anything, but all I wanted was for them to get my order right. Their poor customer service never change. It's just getting worse. I guess you do get what you pay for. Worse of all, I just saw another non-asian get treated harshly. I don't think I need to say it, do I. This place is R !!!
