Oki Hibachi Plus
Description
Oki-Hibachi has garnered a range of responses from diners, with some praising its quick service and delicious fried rice, while others express disappointment over declining food quality and staff attentiveness. Highlights include perfectly crispy tofu and the ability to customize dishes, catering to both meat-eaters and vegetarians. However, concerns about customer service and cleanliness persist, with reports of staff distractions and food preparation practices being less than ideal. For those seeking a speedy meal, Oki-Hibachi can satisfy cravings, but the inconsistency in quality and service may prompt some to explore other options.

The tofu features a crispy outer layer and a creamy interior, making it incredibly tasty. The restaurant is happy to substitute any meat dish with tofu. The fried rice has a little bit of egg in it, but this can be omitted if you ask. They also provide steamed rice as an alternative. The vegetable spring rolls were delicious, and so was the vegetable dish served with rice. When I returned on January 6th, 2021, I found that the absence of egg in the fried rice was not a problem at all.
As a big fan of hibachi, I have to say I was disappointed. The restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly, but the food left much to be desired. I’ve had way better. The vegetables, which are usually my favorite, were almost raw, which was unexpected for hibachi. The fried rice had a strong garlic flavor that I didn’t really enjoy. On the plus side, the portion sizes were generous for the price, but I’m unlikely to return.
Fast and convenient. Although the customer service lacks a personal touch, you can count on enjoying a satisfying Japanese meal that allows for a quick visit. Ideal for people on the go!
I ordered takeout from the restaurant, and when I got home, I found out that they forgot all three sides of fried rice I had requested with my entrees. The bag was tied so tightly that I couldn't check the contents before leaving. I won't be going back.
