What Nick Provost dislikes about Native Kitchen:
Not a great experience. Food was really salty and apparently they were short handed. Took about 40 to get our food (2 entrees and one app) and then when we order coffee after, they seemed really annoyed. Really rude. Cool place. Just wish it was a better experience. I saw the vegan/gluten free cashew cheese nachos on the menu. They were really good. When we got there they had lavender dark chocolate vegan/gluten free donuts. There was one V/GF key lime donut left. The donuts were amazing. They also had a V/GF oatmeal creme pie type thing we didn't try. Just glad to see V/GF options.
Thanks to my Happy Cow app I found this place today! I got their dill chick pea veggie wrap and it was delicious! Hubby got the potato cauliflower soup which was okay, not bad, just not our favorite. The nachos with guacamole was yummy too. Would definitely recommend trying this place out!
The vegan bowls at this restaurant are similar to what I make at home, but they are surprisingly delicious and enjoyable. While on a trip, it was great to have nourishing and tasty food to keep us energized. The oat milk lattes were fantastic. Even my non-vegan boyfriend tried a vegan bowl and enjoyed it as well.
The restaurant offers a wide variety of options on their large menu, with many choices clearly labeled as vegan. They also serve homemade desserts, coffees, and a plethora of other options. The atmosphere is great and there is plenty of seating available.
We were recommended this restaurant by our vegan nutritionist, and I am so thankful we decided to go. The food was incredible, and the staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We tried the black bean quinoa bowl with steamed kale, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I forgot to snap a picture.

This restaurant has fantastic people, food, and service! We dined in for lunch and enjoyed a meal for $1-10 per person.
This restaurant is a great spot to study or meet up with friends. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. The price per person was between $10 and $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5.
I couldn't give this place enough compliments!!! We just googled a random GF restaurant and this came up. The moment we walked into the door we were greeted with kindness and laughter from Haley. We asked for her recommendations and got a pumpkin donut, a oatmeal cream pie, harvest platter, black bean salad and specialty drinks. All of which were 15/10. That was the best GF donut I have ever experienced (thank you). The atmosphere is relaxing, inviting and filled with light from the massive windows in a beautiful brick historical building. Dietary restrictions: Absolutely everything was GF, so I went in with a peace of mind that I could eat anything off the menu.

First let me qualify this, I am not a vegan or a vegetarian, not against or at all and I've been to other restaurants with mostly vegan options and really liked them. This place looked interesting so we went in for a late dinner and I ordered the Burger with a side of quinoa chili. The Guy at the counter was not super friendly but I just figured it was late and he was ready to get out of there. We got our burgers and he didnt offer any condiment so we asked for mayo, he said they didn't have mayo... ok. The burger bun would pretty much disintegrated When I touched it so I went back to get silverware..... when it was able to wrangle it the burger was super bland! The chili was cold so I took it back to get it warmed and was told they had no way to warm it up..... Bland disintegrated burger and cold chili....... Not my ideal of a great meal.
AMAZING vegan options and meat options. Every dish is full of flavor. And the brownies are a must try.

I recently came here for brunch and was so delighted by the whole experience. Delightful atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff, and refreshingly healthy food. We had many different food preferences in our group and we were all happy with the options. I would recommend this restaurant for any and all people looking for something tasty made with care.
Outstanding #vegan food in a magical little location. If you're in Chattanooga, Atlanta, passing by on interstate 75, in Blue Ridge, etc., its worth the stop or the drive. Let's go #Datlon GA!The place is run by Dustin and his family. Locals that wanted to bring something special to the area, and wow, they nailed it.The space is a total dopamine booster. Zen, colorful, fun, airy, and bright. Oh, and its located in a super cool old building with a bunch of other neat shops and restaurants.Food is totally delicious. Everything is well seasoned, not faint, the flavors are there! Well cooked and presented beautifully. Fresh and unique. Love love love. This is one of those places where I liked the food more as I ate, a sign of great food with layers of flavor.#VeggieBurger $9I love this burger. Nice char (which is rare for a veggie burger, well done! , not dry, terrific flavor, and fresh toppings. The veggies on top were thin-sliced, nice touch! You're gonna think its small when you see it, and it is. But the burger and the almond bun are dense and it packs a punch and will fill you up if you pair it with a side or two.I love that the burger is served with only mustard as the sauce, gives it a super unique flavor. However, while, again, the burger is not really dry, I do think a side of another sauce or the addition of another sauce on the burger (maybe as an option could really take this burger to a whole other level.Do not be afraid of the almond based bun, I think its 100% a winner. Its dense, salty on the outside, rich and moist on the inside. I loved it. It does get a bit crumbly after a few bites, but just grab a fork and finish that baby off!Heartly Plateful $11Delicious black beans that were not overcooked (again, rare, most places cook them to mush . Not soupy, fresh and yummy. Some seasonal sauteed veggies, cooked well and seasoned beautifully.Perfectly fried potatoes, crispy, salty, to die for!The veggies and the beans we are tad on the cool side when served, the only real negative during the visit.Oatmeal Sandwich $5OMG, just get it. Ridiculous. Probably the best I've ever had.Yes, in Dalton GA, outstanding vegan fare. You really should go!
Food was very good, just not a fan of the gluten free bun. Nice staff! I would definitely eat there again! The decor is nice as well as the seating in the loft area. Probably far more of an after dark experience, I am sure.
Absolutely delicious! Even if your are not gluten free or dairy free the food is unique and flavorful. My favorite part is not having to worry about what I can eat, it's all gluten free <3
Wow! We went a little way off the interstate as we traveled and found something special! I had Loaded Broccoli Potatoes and my husband had Dirty South Sweet Potato. Yum! While his was not easy to eat while driving, both meals were delicious. We shared an oatmeal cream pie and it was also fabulous!Vegetarian options: So much of the menu is vegetarian and/or vegan and tasted great also gluten free.

The vegan bowls at this restaurant are similar to what I make at home, but they are exceptionally delicious and enjoyable. While on a trip, having access to nourishing and tasty food is a huge bonus. I discovered this restaurant today thanks to my Happy Cow app! I tried the Dill Chicken Pea Veggie wrap and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got the potato-cauliflower soup which was decent, just not our top choice. The nachos with guacamole were also very tasty. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!
