Jack's - Dalton
Jack's
Description
The restaurant from Dalton offers 85 different courses and drinks on the menu for an average price of $5.4.
This fast-casual spot delivers mixed experiences: competent lunchtime service at times, but inconsistent staff professionalism and cleanliness issues undermine repeat visits. Food quality ranges from reliably bland — thin burgers, flavorless chicken fingers and unseasoned fries — to outright poor and spoiled sides (rancid mashed potatoes, discolored green beans, watery gravy). The drive-thru and a military discount are useful, and staff can accommodate no-salt requests, but order errors, occasional rude attitudes and unreliable account handling leave customers wary.

I have a heart condition which limits my salt intake and my coworkers love this place. They do a super good job of making my grilled chicken sandwich with no salt or seasoning on it. (Bland I know but I didn’t choose this) it’s nice to be able to be confident in the food you’re getting. View all feedback.
What Damien Mc S dislikes about Jack's:
The food is very expensive. The workers are ALWAYS rude. The food isn't really my thing but my wife likes going here. It would be nice if the girls working the drive thru didn't always have a disgusting attitude. View all feedback.
I couldn't tell the difference between chicken tenders and chicken breast, so when I asked them to correct the mistake, the staff were rude and informed me it would take 15 minutes to resolve the issue. Overall, their behavior was very unprofessional.
I was disappointed when I ordered a Coke at the restaurant. They filled my cup all the way to the top with ice and then added only a small amount of Coke. It felt like I paid $2 for a large cup of ice with just a side of Coke.
The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and courteous. It was lunchtime, so the place was reasonably busy, but they managed to handle the crowd well. The chicken fingers were larger than those at Zaxby’s, which was an improvement (though that doesn't say much), but unfortunately, they had no real flavor and tasted quite bland. The fries were decent, but they lacked any seasoning whatsoever. As for my burger, it was quite thin and also bland, with a texture reminiscent of that dissolvable paper candy. While the kids seemed satisfied with their chicken fingers, we all agreed that we probably wouldn't choose to return. If I did go back, I might try something different, like the fried chicken, to see if it's any better. On a positive note, they do offer a military discount.
