I was really disappointed in Cracker Barrel today. I have enjoyed the country fried steak for years, even bringing my family here for my birthday. That is coming to an end. No matter who your server is you cannot escape the cooks in the back. All of our food was not hot. My husband's order was correct mine was totally incorrect and I was offered to cold pancakes and three pieces of bacon instead of the grandmas breakfast that I ordered. When I discussed everything that had happened with our experience and showed the manager our receipt our bill which we were charged, she was inept at making a compensation for us. She finally ended up pulling a random ticket out of the computer system to refund to give us money back which was not correct. Also you might find it interesting that they now do not include grits biscuits and gravy with your meal. Everything is being charged for now. We were informed that apple butter is an additional $0.50! The price for a simple breakfast is already exorbitant enough and now they are penny-pinching. Just find somewhere else to eat from now on cracker barrel's have all gone down the toilet.
