What charlie MX doesn't like about Grendon Lakes:
Terrible fishery. Seen numerous fish float up dead and one of the bailiffs (called Jamie) always points out that there’s no use of drugs allowed on the premise even though I’ve seen him smoke weed there. Very disappointed Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1 View all feedback.

Absolute waste of time, brilliant week end of weather so arrange a camping trip by the water, except you are not allowed in the water unless you book a time slot and pay or you hire a paddle board from them, they could barely run a bar, no food, no where to buy anything, generally sit in a field looking at the water but you are no allowed in, I can't remember what the website states but I'm sure it's like 11 lakes, pmsl it's not at all, prepare you self for a dull waste of time and money, oh and the creepy lifeguard from the water sports place who will let the little girls (8-9) in the water and sit and watch and not say a thing but adults, not allowed. Never thought I would say this but billing would have been a better option even with the smell!!
Booked For a 30th birthday Saturday 16th September. Had an absolutely fantastic time. the village had everything we could have needed and more. The village is so much fun and really enjoyed by us all, so much we are all looking to book next year and continue as an annual thing. Cant wait for next year! Rooms: bell tents were fantastic, caters for all and comfy Nearby activities: We did the paintballing for an afternoon and looking to book again for a full day, also looking to do the water park next year. Walkability: not far from the clubhouse which is reasonably priced and wonderful views of the lake. Noteworthy details: The village has so many little details we all loved and caters to everyone, also staff were fantastic and really friendly and helpful.
We booked a corporate event at Grendon Lakes and had such a lovely time. we stayed overnight at the Oakfield campsite and had full use of the marquee, bar, lawn area. we hired a bouncy castle and also an outside catering company come in. we also booked slots for wakeboarding, the aqua park and paintballing which are all on site. great weekend had by all and will definitely be returning. thank you to all staff who were so friendly and was happy to help with any request we had. Rooms: campsite was clean and tidy, had electric points Nearby activities: wakeboarding, inflatable aquapark and paintballing. Food drinks: plenty of choice in the bar area. we was also allowed to hire a catering company who had use of the bbq area at grendon lakes
