Between my wife and I we have tried 9 different sandwiches here. So far, our favorites are the Father Dolan and the VIP. Our strategy at this point will likely be to pair one of our favorites with a new one...just 90 more to go. What Matt I doesn't like about Weinbergers Deli In Grapev:
Italian Beef and Vienna hot dogs were legit, but you’ll never see a true Chicago place sell you those items with Ruffles chips. Add fresh cuts fries instead, and it would add to the authenticity of true Chicago-style. Minus a star for a sour response from Dan. Soggy chips with your meal isn’t the answer regardless if you were from Chicago. It’s not the Chicago way. Do better, and represent with authenticity. View all feedback.
I've been there 4 times now and have been completely satisfied every time I've been. I have had the Italian beef with hot peppers, the Max's pancetta, the dragons breath and the thors cheese steak. I live 2.5 hours away from Weinberger's and make sure to stop there every time now.
This place is the bomb. Their Reuben is the best I’ve ever had and it’s not close. I also recommend the Italian. Make the stop if you can. The wait is worth it.
I have never had a bad meal here this place is awesome
I’ve wanted to go to this place for a long time, but it’s pretty far from me. I happened to be passing by Grapevine today, so I gave it a try. I had the Italian sub, and I am very impressed. I grew up in the north east, and this might be the best Italian sub I’ve ever had.
Chicago girl here love this place. Truly a treasure!!! GO CUBBIES!!!!!!
