Upside - Dallas

Nice view and that’s about it. Menu is limited to just appetizers and none of them were good. Drinks were average

We were so disappointed with Upside! It gets stars for a beautiful view, but the service was poor and they made me open a tab before we even ordered because I wasn’t a guest of the hotel. That was totally weird. The drinks were weak, small if no ice or were ice if they were iced and cost each. We paid over for drinks, an order of deviled eggs and a meat and cheese plate that was like something you’d buy at a gas station. Won’t return and don’t understand what all the hype is about. Total waste of money. We had to leave and go to Taco Diner to get a real drink

They have made a lot of changes since Covid... they take their rules very seriously

The view of the Dallas skyline was great! Limited seating so be sure to reserve a table specifically outside. Would recommend coming for drinks! they are pricey more than any food, but they are really good! Food seemed just average
