Guests often rave about its décor and the vibrant transformation from a quiet lounge to a buzzing nightclub. However, recent visits have revealed some inconsistencies. Many patrons complained of poor communication regarding reservations and operational hours, while issues like overcrowded conditions and inadequate service during busy events have dampened the experience. Despite these drawbacks, the venue remains a favorite for those seeking a fun night out, given its charming ambiance and energetic vibe.
I had made a reservation for my 10th anniversary on Thursday at 9pm. We arrived in the area early and had dinner nearby. When we checked the restaurant's website, it said they opened at 8, so we decided to go a few minutes early. However, when we arrived, we found out they were closed. After calling, we learned that they didn't actually open until 10. We didn't stick around to find out more.
The restaurant's hours were not accurately posted, leading us to wait for an hour because we thought we may have arrived at the wrong time. There was no communication from the restaurant in response to our phone calls and messages.
My family and I recently celebrated my niece's 21st birthday at this restaurant and it was the highlight of our evening. We were impressed by the service and overall experience, which exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this spot. We can't wait to go back!
This seems more like a ‘gentlemen’s club’ than a speakeasy. Certainly not a place for craft cocktails and far too noisy for conversation.
Came here to start my bday at 9:15pm on a Saturday, based on local friends recommendations, which we discovered is too early for a crowd there. It was very quiet the music to be frank- sucked. The seat cushions were broken old, it was a pretty dirty place overall. Very clear that things have changed over the years. We had a reservation, but they asked us to move tables shortly in bc someone had just reserved the spot, which I think is a pretty crappy feeling especially on your bday. I expected a lot more from a Dallas establishment.
