Local Mexican food doesn't get better that Tipico's. This is what my abuelita made. This is what my house smelled like Sunday evening for family dinners. Zero flash. Great flavor. Protect this place at all costs, Dallas. Make it a tradition. View all feedback.
What Angela Savage dislikes about Tipico's:
It closes at 10pm and we showed up at 9:30.. We had a good server, she just couldn't understand what I was asking for when I asked if they had A1 sauce for the steak that i got. The food was ok. Not the best but certainly not the worst! I would visit again. I think I will try it in the afternoon next time.Food: 3/5 View all feedback.
A very inconceivable place to get a home-cooked eating from their oma, which consistently over salts everything, but the chips. reliable taste with friendly.
I had this on the list to see me. the chips had no salt, but were good. the chips were not thin on average. two different salsas.
Family friendly. Authentic Mexican food. I got the chicken and steak fajita special, and i was not disappointed. The waitress helped us with the menu. We knew what we wanted, but at the same time, we didn't, lol. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Huge portions, simple Tex-Mex menu with very good quality. The chili relleno was great, and the mais tortillas tasted fresh and homemade!Food: 5/5
This is what comfort food looks like. You come in and sit anywhere you like, then you’re met with warm chips and two different salsas. The warm salsa is so good. Flour tortillas — order them, idgaf if you’re counting carbs, we don’t do that here. I can’t find anything on the menu that doesn’t taste homemade. It’s just simple, good food from a small place that feels like home. I am a customer for life.
