The Mitchell offers an unforgettable experience unlike any other. It has the feel of a hidden gem that you'll be eager to share with your friends. The cocktails are skillfully made, and the food is both vibrant and distinctive. The staff is not only attentive but also friendly and considerate. They made an extra effort to ensure we felt like regulars, even though we were visiting from out of state. A heartfelt thanks to the fantastic staff, especially Justin and Dwayne, who made our visit even more memorable.
Honestly, it's the best daiquiri I've ever had! I don’t know what Dwight does behind the bar, but he’s truly amazing! It was such a relaxed and enjoyable experience!
I sent him the list, and the rest is history. The food was not only exceptional, but the special attention and care made me feel normal for a change. The bar was fantastic as well, with a great selection of fun cocktails and stunning glassware. As someone with experience in the service industry, I’m not easily impressed, but The Mitchell truly delivered and will always hold a special place in my heart. Having just moved from NYC, I was searching for a place that would remind me of home, and I’ve finally found it! If you're looking for great food, drinks, lively music, friendly staff, and an atmosphere that stands out, look no further!
This place is an amusement park for your taste buds. Just like all amusement parks, you're going to be waiting a little bit in between rides, but that's ok it's worth it. Hands down one of the best cocktails and food I've had in Dallas. Oysters, bonemarrow, frogs legs, steak tartare and a handful of custom cocktails made for such an enjoyable evening with friends.
Walked in and asked for a beer. The bartender said ?we?re a cocktail bar, you want a beer, go next door?. I own restaurants so I found this comical. I said ?okay, I?ll take a bourbon smash?. The bartender (in his completely empty bar on a Friday night) said?I have some dead mint right there, you can?t have that?. He again suggested I go elsewhere. To ownership- find a bartenderthat doesn?t literally SUGGEST your paying customers go elsewhere because he?s too pretentious to be hospitable. Shame onyou? Plenty of other options that have an ounce of energy and a bartender that?s willing to do his job instead of pretend to bea cool hipster and make $20 a night.
