that was a long time ago, but my mom and I still talk about this place today. it was thanksgiving and we drove a 3.5-hour layover. we came and sat right away and I remember that the waitress recommended a cheese ravioli with red sauce, which was mouthwater and for the living of me I cannot remember, but a dish with the best green pesto sauce ever. but this place is delicious and I would like to go back. I took a caprese sanwich on the way to my flight and the whole sandwich- both sides had only 2 very thin discs of mozzarella and 2 very thin discs of tomaten. it was mostly brot. the little dessert bar I tasted old. View all feedback.
I attempted to place a takeout order today, Monday, July 18th, and was completely ignored by the staff. Even the manager walked by and did not acknowledge my presence. The bartender near the register also said nothing. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
The food at this restaurant was excellent, particularly their kartoffels. The waiters were attentive and frequently refilled our drinks. However, our hostess was absent and only one host provided us with a limited number of utensils to share among ourselves, despite us being the only patrons. As more people arrived, they were seated at neighboring tables with their luggage still in place, making it difficult for them to navigate around and causing some items to be broken.
I wasn't impressed by this restaurant. I stopped in for a late lunch while waiting for a connecting flight. Despite not being very busy, the calamari I ordered was overcooked and had overly crispy breading, making it more crunchy than enjoyable. The margarita pizza was just okay, nothing special. Overall, I found the experience not worth the time or money, and I won't be returning.
My hubs and I had 40 minutes until out flight was to depart, so we decided this was the closest best choice to our gate in Dallas Airport. We ordered the Margherita and Pollo pizzas. They were AMAZING. As a midwesterner, ranch dressing is our staple condiment. This place did not have it, but they didn't need it: the pizza is great solo. I HIGHLY recommend the garlic aioli, which is tart and perfect addition for dipping. The crust was thin and very crispy. All ingredients fresh. My Pollo pizza had crunchy broccoli on it! Nom! The crust was light and airy, crispy. Will return should we come back. I paired with a Malbec. Cheers!
28 minutes to get a heap of greens with a small piece of salmon thrown on the top. If you have a flight to catch, you will miss it by eating here.
