Very open and inviting when you walk in. The cocktails were very good and we had a Malbec wine and it was priced right and very good. We started with a flatbread and calamari and both were very good. There were three of us and we each ordered a different entree. They give you a lot of food and all three dishes were very good. It was an enjoyable evening! View all feedback.

We were seated promptly, and our server was quick and efficient. Our food arrived surprisingly fast. We were lucky to arrive around 11 AM, as the restaurant quickly became quite busy. The food was delicious; we ordered the avocado toast and the hangover chicken sandwich, which was massive—we ended up taking half of it home! We also had the builder's omelet, which was a great healthy choice. View all feedback.
Since Smithy is famous for its craft cocktails, we started off with The Healer—a gin-based drink featuring lime juice, turmeric, honey, Tazo Zen tea, and apple-ginger kombucha. This refreshing concoction was just what I needed on a cold, rainy day. Then the food arrived! My husband ordered The Hangover 2.0 (you know it’s serious when they add numbers to the name). This enormous sandwich featured a biscuit larger than my fist, filled with a golden habanero-fried chicken breast, a sausage patty, two medium eggs, brown sugar pecan peppered bacon, hash browns, bourbon maple syrup, and roasted poblano cream gravy. I’m full just thinking about it! Despite the many ingredients, they all worked together harmoniously, creating a layered flavor and texture experience with each bite. It was an absolute masterpiece! I opted for the Poutine Tots and was not disappointed! These fluffy, hand-rolled potato barrels were topped with tender chunks of short ribs, a generous helping of gravy, cheese curds, pecan bacon planks, and crema. I can’t express how satisfying the rich flavors of this Poutine made me feel—my soul was truly full! It’s a testament to a chef's love and vision when something as simple as Tater Tots is transformed into a complex, five-star dish. If you’re looking for a chic spot that truly delivers on cocktails, food, and vibe, make your way to Smithy. You won’t regret it!
The food was really good and our waiter was very nice. The sweet potato tots were to die for! The flavors in the forged bowl I made was amazing. Only slight complaint and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was our waiter was quick to leave andwouldn't check with all of us before he walked away. Other than that, was great!
The eating and the vibes were so good! brunch was amazing, the gurke infused mimosa was for dying.
Delicious and generous portions make this a great tasting value. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We will definitely be back. Hangover Sandwich, Breakfast Tamales Short Rib Poutine are highly recommended for brunch.
We went to Smithy for brunch. It was a hip venue with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They sat our party in a private area separate from most of the other diners, which gave us plenty of privacy. The food was excellent and the chef was willing to make adjustments (allowed us to sub breakfast sausage for the salmon in the Salmon Benedict . My dish (the Garden of Eatin’ was tasty and we got an order of the truffle fries for the table—they were awesome! They also come in a very large bowl big enough for a party of 5. The mimosa flight was a great value and the cucumber-honey juice was delicious. Overall, it was a great time. The only “con” was the parking—it’s very limited but that’s to be expected in a busy Dallas neighborhood. We were able to grab a front spot but our other party members had to valet. Not a major issue for us but may be a downer for some. Other than that, we really enjoyed ourselves. Two thumbs up!
