Smithy
4.5 / 5 (2943 reviews)

Description

Nestled in a vibrant location, Smithy offers a cozy atmosphere marked by a lively open kitchen. Diners rave about generous portions and standout dishes like the Hangover Sandwich and Breakfast Tamales, while others find service inconsistent. Though the brunch options, including avocado toast and sweet potato tots, have room for improvement, the cocktails shine and the staff's friendliness enhances the experience. While many appreciate the food's flavor and creativity, others feel efficiency occasionally overshadows quality. Overall, Smithy remains a charming spot, though some patrons may weigh their options before returning.

I highly recommend visiting Smithy if you're in the area. We really appreciated the creativity and pricing of their cocktails. We ended up ordering more than we planned because they were so good, and our bartender was fantastic. Although we didn’t try any main dishes, the Truffle Fries were delicious. I've heard excellent things about their brunch, so I can't wait to go back!

Delicious and inspired food with a good amount of local beer options. I enjoyed a nice lunch on the patio with my wife. Everything was top notch.

Came in for dinner for the first time and was very pleased all around! Had a couple of delicious cocktails and the tots poutine to start. I had the short rib ragu, and hubs had the hot chicken. Both so good. Great vibe all around, but what really made it was Andrew’s service. Absolutely great server with good recommendations and took excellent care of us. Thanks Andrew!
