I absolutely loved this place. It had a great atmosphere, so much so that I decided to sit outside on the patio. The patio was a covered area that had the option of closing the windows, which they did end up closing due to a bird trying to get some dinner. Our waitress was absolutely amazing from start to finish. This was our first time, so she was very good at explaining to estimate you and even brought us a complimentary appetizer. We had the green curry and also the lemon grass chicken, a Thai Iced Tea, and a Malai Martini. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, we literally had to stop ourselves from eating as it was so good but we were so full. The price was so good and affordable for the overall experience.I can't wait to eat here again, it will definitely be one of my go-to spots.

Take a look at the quantity of curry sauce in the bowl. The way they serve the lamb shank and curry sauce with rice leaves the rice completely drenched in curry. If you enjoy a salty curry-flavored porridge, then this dish is for you. The lamb shank is just okay; any decent Mediterranean restaurant that serves lamb shank will likely outshine this place. As for the lemongrass shrimp soup, it has a very strong fishy taste and lacks the expected spice and refreshing lemongrass aroma. It feels more like someone threw some shrimp and mushrooms into instant soup.

I enjoyed this nice little spot. It's in a shopping area with stores all around, so it's a great location to get out and walk all the good food off. The food was good. I had Pad Thai which is always a solid choice, but it had some extra add ons that were not needed but overall tasted decent. I had a meatball appetizer, they were not like regular meatballs and looked like little patties, but they were good, kind of sweet and I enjoyed the sauce that came with them. My cousin had a seafood soup of sorts that she loved! It was so flavorful she asked if it had pork in it which it did not. The waitress was amazing and patient. It was our first time there and she talked us through our options. I would return!Vegetarian options: They had no meat options.Parking: We parked in a free parking garage that was very close to the restaurant and shops

This was our first experience with Thai cuisine, and Malai Kitchen was the perfect place to start! The restaurant was spotless, and the service was excellent. The food was bursting with flavor. The complimentary sticky rice appetizer was a charming way to begin, like unwrapping a little gift. Opting for the sampler appetizer was a great choice, allowing us to taste all the sauces and different dishes. We really enjoyed everything. Our favorite entrée was the shrimp pad Thai—the flavor was indescribable but absolutely perfect, and the noodles were cooked just right. The beef dish was also flavorful, though it could have benefited from a bit more sauce to avoid dryness. We also ordered a side of simple fried rice, which lived up to its name—quite basic. Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely come back.

We visited Malai Kitchen for my cousin’s graduation dinner. I’ve been to many Thai restaurants before, but this one stood out as something special. The ambiance was pleasant, and the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and authentic—every dish we ordered was great except for the banana dessert, which didn’t suit my taste. I was hoping to try the sugar cane juice, but unfortunately, it wasn’t available. I definitely want to try it next time.
