Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I ordered the fried fish, chicken wings and fries, and the chicken salad. My family really enjoyed their meal. My fiancée loved the chicken wings, my daughter enjoyed the baked potatoes with gravy, and the chicken salad was excellent. Next time, I plan to try the crab.
I have had dinner at this restaurant twice now. I tried the Philly and the Queen, both of which were delicious. The owners are also very friendly. I would definitely return if I am in this area of the city.
Located in Oak Cliff, this restaurant is a hidden gem. It is owned and operated by a black couple who provide excellent service in a clean and contemporary setting. I highly recommend trying the chicken wings. My family makes a point to dine here at least once a month and we always recommend it to our friends and acquaintances. The menu has a wide variety of options and everything we have tried has been delicious.
I ordered 2 hamburger baskets. The burgers are ok despite the wilted lettuce, the waffle fries were hard as a rock which I thought I was getting regular fries. I didn't order cheese so I guess they charged me extra for the Styrofoam box. Either that or the menu prices have changed. Was charged $19.45 for two burger baskets.
Food was good but the Restroom needs to be updated.
