When a line forms half an hour before a restaurant opens, it's always a promising sign.
The owner, Todd, contacted me about the sausages and offered to replace them if I came in.
The BBQ here is good, but in comparison, my coworkers and I still prefer Pecan Lodge and Heim. The bacon burnt ends at those places are unbeatable.
Hands down best Texas BBQ in all of Dallas. I've tried almost every Texas BBQ joint in Dallas and hands down cattleack serves the juiciest meat you have ever had. Not only do they use American wagyu beef but the bark that they develop on their smoked brisket and ribs is phenomenal. Try their crack cake at the end and trust me you will question what they put in it (I'm joking) but it's that good. If you are in Dallas you have to try this place. It's a must. The owners really love this place and are very delightful to talk to. 10/10
