Was Jackie at Angela's Cafe a mag?
The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken and requested extra pineapple. The chicken was perfectly marinated and grilled, while the fresh vegetables and broccoli were steamed just right. I also had a side of mashed potatoes and corn, which were fantastic! What Cassidy Larson dislikes about Angela's Cafe:
hostess was unfriendly. no cheerful greeting... no greeting at all in fact. I stood at the entry for what seemed like a long time. not knowing if i should seat myself or not. Finally i approached the cashier and asked. She told me that the person standing at her counter would seat me. He had been there the whole time, never spoke nor acknowledged my presence at all. Having overheard my conversation with the cashier,... View all feedback.

A true classic! If you're searching for the perfect breakfast spot, look no further. With so many options in Dallas, finding the right balance between wait times, taste, and value can be a challenge. But ask anyone who has dined here, and I can almost guarantee they’ll be planning their next visit before they even leave. The classic breakfast dishes truly shine, showcasing the restaurant's experience and expertise. The menu is diverse enough for those who want to switch things up, offering Tex-Mex, brunch favorites, and delicious baked goods. In short, anyone who visits here will be glad they did!

The food here ranges from good to outstanding. Had tortilla soup for a starter and absolutely loved it. The tamales were good but nothing special. On another occasion, I had the chicken strip salad. The chicken strips were very good, but the salad was average at best. The tomatoes weren't ripe and had no flavor. I'd give it three stars, but the prices are so reasonable that I give it 4.

Angela's Cafe has garnered a reputation as a bustling diner in Dallas, celebrated for its hearty, homemade-style dishes and accommodating prices. While many patrons rave about its delightful Eggs Benedict and generous portions, service reviews are mixed. Some guests have experienced unwelcoming greetings and inattentive staff, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable meal. Crowds, particularly on weekends, can overwhelm the experience, leading to slower service. Nevertheless, the food quality often shines through, with standout items like the Mexican Omelette and tortilla soup earning accolades. Angela's remains a go-to spot for comforting bites and casual dining, despite a few service hiccups.

Sundays can get quite busy due to church crowds, so I prefer to sit closer to the entrance. During the week, it’s not as crowded, and my regular waitstaff are always pleasant and very helpful—you know who you are! You all deserve a raise for the excellent service you provide.

Great food but needs to redo the decor and clean around. They are always busy but absolutely need some maintenance. Food is good but they are limited on space.

(Besides other details below, the food taste homemade and they bring it hot and fresh). I Was looking for a quiet place to eat, somehow I stumbled here. This place is quiet but at the same time ppl have conversations, so I like the inside voices. It is very clean and I was seated immediately. This place has space, they offer boot or round tables. Although it was crowded during lunch time, my waitress came fast. I was impressed with the menu and prices; omg the prices are impeccable. The portion sizes is remarkable as I was happy the see the portion I received and everyone else’s. J, the lady cashier is funny and hopeful and ask was this my first time, conversed, and wish me a good day and hope I return. Only thing I didn’t like was there is no website but I’m uploading menu images...

It's the most crowded diner i have ever seen on my life, but i didn't get why. The meal is good but it's not on the top of the league. The service is average. I barely got a coffee refill. It seems to me that the customer are recurrent ones as the staff know them by their names. The venue is well decorated, but overall Angela's lacks the atmosphere of Norma's. P.D. It was so crowded that i couldn't take venue pictures

I had brunch here before catching an afternoon flight at the airport. This charming local diner in the heart of Dallas offers a diverse menu with plenty of options. I ordered the spicy chicken wings and chips with queso, and both were delicious—perfect for sharing with my dining companions. My wife tried the poached eggs and my mom had eggs over easy, and they were both very pleased with their meals. To cap off our brunch, we enjoyed a churro, which was the perfect sweet treat. Overall, this is a fantastic spot for a hearty, home-cooked meal. It can get busy, so I recommend arriving early!

We had an excellent experience at Angela's! The customer service was fantastic, and the food was remarkable. We had just arrived in town from Kansas City and searched for breakfast options on Google. We're so happy we decided to go with Angela's!
