Reviews - Tj's Java Sno
Reviews summary
TJ's, formerly known as Bahama Sno Java To Go, has become a local hotspot for delicious snow cones and refreshing beverages. The extensive menu features tantalizing treats, from flavorful sno cones to quality coffee sourced from local roasters. While some patrons rave about the friendly service and the vibrant atmosphere complete with yard games, reports of inconsistent staff attitudes dampen the experience. Despite occasional lapses in customer care, the delicious offerings and inviting ambiance keep loyal customers returning. With a little more attention to service, TJ's could truly shine as a beloved community destination.

I encourage you to visit; I’m confident you’ll enjoy it. As of my latest update on May 15, 2024, it remains an excellent destination for coffee or lattes. As someone who is diabetic, I really appreciate that they offer sugar-free options for most of their coffee and latte beverages. On hot days, nothing is better than an iced coffee or a refreshing shaved ice, and I’ve noticed their selection of sugar-free flavors is expanding almost every week—you'll surely find one you love! I've also heard from the owners that they’ll soon be offering soft serve ice cream from Homestead Creamery, which sounds amazing. Make sure to check this place out; I’m certain you’ll enjoy it!

What a hidden gem! On my drive from Maryland to North Carolina, I was in search of a non-Starbucks coffee shop and stumbled upon this amazing place. The staff here are wonderfully cheerful and serve with genuine joy. The menu is extensive and has a local, charming vibe. The iced tea truly lives up to its reputation - as a self-proclaimed tea connoisseur, I was impressed by the quality. They use spring water and even add tapioca pearls for a fun twist. Don't hesitate to stop by this place, as it will surely bring a smile to your face. And if you're traveling with family and need to stretch your legs, they offer yard games for the kids to enjoy. Highly recommended!
This restaurant is always excellent! The service is friendly and the new owners have created a fun atmosphere. There are games outside and music playing. The snow cones are consistently delicious with a wide variety of flavors to choose from at good prices. Don't miss out on trying their specialty boba drinks - they are fantastic and offer plenty of options.
Whenever my boyfriend and I come back to town from DC, we always make sure to stop by this restaurant! They have the best snow cones I have ever had. My favorite is the big wave with condensed milk on top - it tastes absolutely delicious. Even my dog, Luka, loves TJ's, as shown in the picture.

I absolutely adore this cozy spot. They serve delicious sno cones, coffees (both hot and iced), lattes, and hot dogs. The owners put in a lot of effort to create a welcoming atmosphere. They have a variety of games to keep both you and your children entertained. Additionally, there are picnic tables with umbrellas where you can relax out of the sun. If you're in a hurry, you can also use their drive-through option to grab your favorite treats to go. I highly recommend stopping by, as I'm confident you'll enjoy it.
Great place for a quick desert or a pick me up latte. Multitudes of flavors and combinations. There are even sugar free options available. As it gets warmer, take the gang for a snow cone. Again, a lot of flavors and sizes to choose from. You can get any size from the smallest way to just try the flavors to the mega brain freeze size. There are some games to keep the family busy, and the music they play is fun to sing along to or just tap a toe or two. The new owner operators really try to make it a great place to stop by and visit. Thanks guys, see you tomorrow for an orange creamachino. Mmmmmmm

TJ's, under new ownership for a few months now, has introduced a variety of exciting additions for the whole family to enjoy, such as a foosball table, shuffleboard, chess, tiki toss, and jenga. The new owners also take pride in the quality of their products, using FIJI water for their syrups and non-GMO cane sugar. They source their coffee from local roasters for a fresh brew and use organic ingredients for their espresso drinks. In addition to the fantastic food options, the staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure that every customer leaves with a smile.

This is the best small business in the area! The staff is always friendly and they serve delicious snow cones.
This restaurant is consistently fantastic, and it is operated by truly exceptional individuals.
This charming restaurant is a hidden gem. We decided to try their Kona Mocha and Cookies and Cream Frappés, which were absolutely perfect on this hot 90-degree day. The staff were also very friendly and accommodating.
If you want the best sno cones with a ton of flavor options, this is the spot, and they're not stingy on adding in the flavoring to make their snocones! Previously taken over from Bahama snoshack and they def have met the same quality as I've enjoyed for over 25 years!! They have games and seating outside to enjoy while you or the little ones eat their cones and if you aren't wanting a snocone they have an array of other delicious items you can choose from to enjoy! My kids ask every time we travel to BoCo to Nana and Pop's(weekly) if we can stop and get cones lol it is worth the stop!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I had previously visited when it was known as "bahama sno java To-Go", but they have since rebranded as tj's.
I came this morning at 11:30 to get a last drink before I was good. had to wait 15 minutes until they noticed that I was there. too busy, eat quickly and sit on their phones. rude when they order. splashy window in my face....good drink
I really enjoy the snow cones at this restaurant, but the hours of operation are inconvenient. Every time I try to visit, they are closed.
This experience was awful. my volleyball team was trying to order some snow cones and it was closing in 15 minutes. this lady couldn’t find it in her heart to put down our orders and make us some snow cones for extra money. we were going to tip her good but nope she wouldn’t do it. how rude right??
