With many hungry guests in attendance, I quickly called Oskar's in a panic to see if they could provide food on short notice. They immediately asked how many people needed to be fed and if fish and chicken would be suitable options. Despite the last-minute request, they handled the situation with professionalism and efficiency. Oskar's saved the day by delivering delicious food to the venue, and I am forever grateful for their help. In addition to their excellent service, I was delighted to see that they now have booths for seating. I highly recommend Oskar's for their amazing food, friendly staff, and commitment to serving the community. Thank you once again for coming to our rescue - you truly are the best!

We brought home some chocolate fr... read more The food at this restaurant is fantastic, made with fresh ingredients! It is one of our favorite places to eat on Lake Martin. We brought home some chocolate fritters for dessert, which were similar to a chocolate hush puppy with chocolate pudding inside. My sons absolutely loved them. Additionally, the homemade dressings and sauces here are outstanding as well!

Chopped Steak: I really didn't want to say, but the meat was charred more than what I would have expected. The meat was topped with onion gravey, maybe no onenoticed. Side Salad: Perfect as I enjoy a cool salad and the homemade Blu Cheese dressing was awesome. Side: Purple Hull Peas Ifound them great to eat with the chopped steak and the Hushpuppies...WOW, so good I said I should have ordered a fishsandwich. The roll, I found much to my appeal as well. But last night we had the worst service we have ever exp... read more We always come to Oskar's when we are at the lake because the food and service are usually really good. But last night we had the worst service we have ever experienced. The restaurant was only a quarter full, but our waitress disappeared after gettingour drinks and we waited over 15 minutes waiting on her to return. I finally went to the front and told them we were ready toorder and they said they would find the waitress. We waited another 5 minutes and were getting up to just leave and she waschatting up another table, but finally came over to us. Then we proceeded to wait another 20 minutes on food while other tablesgot their dinner, dessert, paid, and left. By this time they were starting to clean up to close the restaurant! Food came outand was good as always. We asked for a slice of cake to go and got the thinnest slice of cake I've ever seen. Reallydisappointing experience.
