The lovely friendly owner sells a good selection of generally local ales, some award winning plus it has a large fridge packed with a highly eclectic range of bottled beers there's also a choice of real ciders too. Snacks to fuel you your well behaved dogs too. Wood burner to keep you warm. Decent seating. Nice neat clean toilets too. Local roadside parking.

The waiter was incredibly rude, questioning my choice of drink and showing little interest in taking our order or ensuring we had a positive dining experience. The food was also a letdown. Despite ordering spicy biryani, it arrived cold, flavorless, and lacking in spice. When I mentioned this to the waiter, he simply gave me a plate of chilies and walked away, expecting me to season my own dish. The replacement dish was no better, with bland flavors and small portions that tasted worse than a supermarket frozen meal. The overall service was subpar, with a dirty table upon arrival and staff who were more focused on their phones than on customer service. It was a disappointing and frustrating experience that ruined what could have been a pleasant evening out. I will not be returning to this restaurant and would not recommend it to others.

When we requested water with ice and lemon, we were only provided with plain water. The service was lacking, and I contemplated leaving due to the poor treatment. However, I stayed for my daughter's birthday. When I asked for a Coca-Cola for my daughter, I was rudely questioned as to why I needed it. I was also not satisfied with the biryanis we ordered, as they were bland and not prepared as requested. The main meals lacked flavor and were disappointing. I had to request my bill from the bar, as the staff were busy watching TV. We felt rushed to finish our meal, and the staff even started cleaning up around us before we were done eating. I will not be returning to this restaurant and advise others to avoid it. My rating for this restaurant is 0/100, and I believe it should be closed permanently.
