Nestled in a vibrant locale, The Pavilion presents a culinary experience that has sparked contrasting sentiments among diners. While some rave about the flavorful dishes, friendly service, and unbeatable weekday deals, others lament over unappetizing meals marked by greasiness, poor execution, and lackluster service. Reports of rude staff, mismanagement, and unnecessary charges have left a sour taste for many. However, the inviting atmosphere and commendable customer care during special occasions have garnered praise. As it stands, The Pavilion embodies a juxtaposition of charm and disappointment, making it a gamble for those seeking a satisfying dining experience.

Was Anonym at The Local a mag?
would recommend the pub for its pulsating atmosphere, very friendly staff and talented chef try something new every time we visit. enjoy a family breakfast this morning very good traditional kitchen with a modern twist. many thanks kyle and jon! definitely come back. View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Local:
Wont be going back, no mint sauce instead something they called mint sauce, the king prawn puree was really oily and the mains bland. Shame I was looking forward to a nice meal. View all feedback.

Frequently changing selection of local and local or funky ales and more likely from the barrel or box. new addition of 3rd pint tasting plank (for festival, but gradually asked) and takeaway container. different games to play. small space with limited space or seating, but nice for a pub to find a niche in a village and seems to be doing well. also make them events such as xmas carols or acoustic artists or nights of cheese. watch facebook for updates and opening times as limited as a normal pub.

Nice cozy little place.... basically an old corner shop that has morphed into a traditional back street corner pub with a modern twist. The lovely friendly owner sells a good selection of generally local ales, some award winning plus it has a large fridge packed with a highly eclectic range of bottled beers there's also a choice of real ciders too. Snacks to fuel you your well behaved dogs too. Wood burner to keep you warm. Decent seating. Nice neat clean toilets too. Local roadside parking.

Lovely pub, always with a warm friendly welcome from everyone there. As mentioned elsewhere make sure you take cash, but you can always grab some from inside the Nisa down the road!
