A small cafe for hot drinks, cakes or light meals. Easy to miss but accessible from the towpath perfect for a break if you are walking. Very pleasant, especially if the weather allows you to sit out. Child and dog friendly. View all feedback.
I purchased some Begonia plants from this nursery approximately 3 months ago and have been extremely satisfied with their performance. They are by far the best flowering plants I have ever purchased, as they have continued to blossom beautifully and are still thriving today. I have also had positive experiences with other plants purchased here and will definitely return in the future.
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The coffee and cake were absolutely delicious. I can't believe I didn't know about this place before. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family so they can experience this delightful place too. I can't wait to see the plants in full bloom and hopefully purchase some to spread more smiles at the SUNNYSIDE UP retreat. Thank you!
I enjoy stopping by this restaurant when walking into Hemel along the Canal. The access is easy, and there is a spacious indoor seating area, but I prefer to sit outside and listen to the birdsong. As a vegetarian (not vegan), I really like their cheese and onion sandwich, which comes with a generous portion of salad and crisps. The sandwich is made with fresh and tasty wholemeal bread and aged Cheddar cheese. Their tea is also excellent. The restaurant is clean and tidy with attentive service and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it and appreciate the work they do to help adults with learning difficulties. Give it a try!
Lovely cafe and shop. Lots of vegan options, delicious soup, great coffee and yummy cakes. Loads of eco friendly products in the shop.
I often pop in and I love it!! Delicious fresh food, friendly professional staff in a comfy quirky space. The toasted cheese sarnie is the best!! And all while supporting a local community initiative providing opportunities for developing skills. Go!! P.S. and the plant sales are great too!
