Sea World Fish And Chip Shop - Dacorum

This is a suburban take-away, mainly for kebabs and fish and chips. They have been here a long time, very reliable and friendly. The fish is great and we’ve tried several other things, only problem is the portions are so big! : As it is take-away only, has been open during lockdown.

Walked in, ordered, walked out in 3 minutes flat with a very large cod and chips. The food was great, especially the chips, and service was outstanding. Well worth the extra distance we travelled.

My teen daughter had not eaten any lunch so was very hungry when I picked her up at tea time from her part time job so suggested having fish and chips for dinner. We don't eat fish and chips very often but have always been disappointed by the inedible offerings at other shops in the town so drove further to go here after having good food here on other occasions. We weren't disappointed. I'm a big eater, and usually get the large cod, but as I knew the portions were large, I decided to go for the regular size this time. Thank goodness I did! The fishes were huge, with only a light, crispy batter covering and were non greasy. It was nice that the batter hadn't stuck to the paper when we got our meals home too. The chip portions (We had a regular portion each),were huge too and we struggled to eat it all. Chips were delicious too, crispy, with nice soft centres and non greasy and hardly any thin ones with no substance that we hate. The oil tasted fresh and hot that they were cooked in, even though there was barely any grease at all. I thought they'd given us large portions by mistake as there was enough for 2 in 1 portion! Lovely quick, takeaway meal, and we'll definitely be returning, even though it's not the nearest shop to us.

Exceptional quality and very good service. Would definitely recommend this fish and chip restaurant. Chips are like triple cooked ones in a posh restaurant

Portions are good and service is always decent. The chips are usually really nice there too. Would recommend.
