Marks And Spencer's Cafe - Dacorum

I am very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I went in for a takeaway coffee and was charged £3.44 for a decaf soya cappuccino that was only half full. I waited 15 minutes while three staff members served one customer. I will now be going to independent coffee shops where customers are valued and the coffee is not as expensive.

It's not that the food or drink are bad, or that the staff aren't good, but it's a supermarket cafe and that's all.

I was in town and wanted a coffee, so I saw some snacks and decided to have lunch there. I couldn't complain about the food - they had a good selection of vegetarian options. But the real standout was the coffee, which was far superior to the place next door (which supposedly specializes in coffee). I've been back since just for the coffee. 5 stars.

We bring the children to M&S café quite often before hitting the aisles! They serve a variety of savouries and cakes including toasted sandwiches and tea cakes and sandwiches especially for children. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices are always popular. It is a functional café without any particular ambience, but it is fine for a gentle half hour or so eating good quality food. They provide high chairs and also crayons and worksheets (though none left last time) for young children. We'll keep going back I'm sure.

Finished shopping and then went into cafe. Very busy. Staff very friendly and polite. Bacon roll, very soft roll and bacon very salty. Latte hot and good taste. Okay for a quick fix but not the quality would expect from M S.
