If you are lucky, Victoria is your server. She does an amazing job and made our evening even more special. She explained all the different cuts to us and always made sure we were happy.

We went to Rind Rebe for the... read more A friend of mine is co-owner of this place. Holla at Patrick when you there. So, I'm still definitely gonna be fair on the review. We went to Rind Rebe for the November date night. First impression: Place is classy and in sunnier days, there is a nice outside eating area that gives on a small river. We got in, coats given to the waiting staff and were guided to our table. We were the first table that evening. Not being too proud of a meat eater, we discussed with Patrick to advise us on the steaks. He brought us to the fridges where all the steaks are displayed for people to pick and choose the one they wanna try. The staff helps you in understanding what kind of mouthfeel you can expect from the different types of steaks and cuts. I must insist here that this is something all guests even after us got. It was not a friends-only thing. The staff is super professional with a great sense of humor. Here's what we had: Starters: Smoked Duck, Tempura Tiger Prawns Mains: Dry-aged Alter Ochse steak, Irish Black Angus steak (both served with beef jus classic fries Dessert: Cheesecake, Crème Brulée Ah before I forget, we had wine for each course, but no memory of the exact names/years. The Angus was the much better steak on the night. Rest of the food was super well cooked the combinations made super sense for both starters. The chef, Roman, is quirky and tries some really cool stuff on the dishes that work fantastic. We stayed after dessert for a few drinks(as you can see from the pictures and kept Matty, the barman, company while sipping on some nice G Ts. You get to choose from standard cuts or directly select your piece of meat from the ager. Preparation of the steaks is good but not excellent. They have an interesting selection of sides to go with the steaks. Drinks are expensive. Winelist is extensive but not comprehensive.
