I visited for the first time on November 15th. I wanted to show the elderly Bagatataki Falls, so I was looking for a parking lot nearby and decided on this place based on Google Maps reviews. I felt at ease from the moment I entered for parking. When I returned, I ordered soba because I was a little hungry. The temperature was a bit low, but I ordered cold soba... I ordered zaru soba and vegetable tempura soba. The hand-made style soba and tempura were both delicious. They recommended homemade hot pepper and served homemade pickles... It was a pleasant and relaxing place, not like the nearby shops in a tourist area.
This is a lovely restaurant where kind grandmothers work! It feels like coming back to your hometown. If you use the restaurant, parking is free. There is space for about 15 cars and motorcycles can also be parked. Inside, there are table seats and tatami mats. You can enjoy delicious udon, soba, grilled ayu fish, and dumplings with a cool breeze flowing. Seasonal mountain vegetables come out as a service, and the warm hospitality was wonderful. The photos show vegetable kenchin soba and miso oden, which were very delicious. I will definitely stop by again when I visit the Sengataki Waterfall!
Located just across the bridge, ignoring the temptation of the roadside parking lot, this restaurant is conveniently close to the waterfall. Parking is free with a meal. At first, I was a little worried, but it turned out to be a hot spot. I tried their zaru soba and miso dengaku, and also enjoyed the homemade mountain vegetable simmered dish and okara salad as a service. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade yuzu miso in the dengaku dish. It's a great place, so everyone should give it a try!
