The steakhouse doesn’t offer an extensive menu, prioritizing quality over variety. While the steak tends to be on the chewier side, my particular order was softer than expected. The highlight of the meal was the black garlic butter sauce, presented in a unique candle-like setup where the butter melts as it’s lit—a visually impressive and flavorful touch. The mushroom on bread was another standout, with rich, earthy flavors complementing the crispy texture of the bread. Additionally, the truffle gratin was an indulgent dish, packed with depth and creamy, aromatic truffle goodness. For dessert, I had the cheese salted caramel cake, which was served in a generously large portion. The balance of sweet and salty flavors was well-executed, making it a satisfying end to the meal. Miss Steak is a solid choice for those who appreciate a focused steak menu and a well-curated dining experience. While the steak texture may not be for everyone, the innovative sauce presentation and well-executed side dishes make up for it. The large dessert portions are also a plus. If you’re looking for a classic ambiance and a straightforward yet refined steak experience, Miss Steak is worth a visit. Visited twice since writing this review and the food has been consistently delicious on both visits. I really value that they only use tallow and olive oil to cook their dishes as im an advocate for avoiding seed oils. Steak was cooked to perfection and very tasty and the tallow fries were rustic and very enjoyable. The staff are attentive and communicative. Our first Christmas away from home, we decided to go for a steak and what a meal it was! Free truffle popcorn to start with! The sides were all incredible (wagyu bites, 1000 layer potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, gravy, garlic butter, corn ribs side salad), such amazing seasoning and flavour throughout. The flat iron steaks were so juicy and flavourful. Delicious brownie for dessert as well. Brilliant service and even received a little Christmas gift. Couldn’t recommend enough!
