The bo kho was phenomenal and the banh mi thit was gone before we thought to take a picture. Great crusty baguettes were the highlight along with the beef in the bo kho, which was brisket like in flavor and texture. Staff service was very spotty and, weirdly, with the menus we got a sheet of paper to hand write our order on. I suspect they didn’t want to deal with foreigners. Still, they missed my food at first and I had to remind them. Great coffee.

Staff is average but I noticed the locals cut in line so sometimes a longer wait lol. Keep in mind that there’s no seating.

The savoury items I ordered here were very underwhelming but t... read more Very seldom do I give a one-star review, however, Lien Hoa is unfortunately well deserving of it. The savoury items I ordered here were very underwhelming but the signature cake was quite tasty. However, this bakery gave me what is undoubtedly the worst food poisoning I have ever experienced in my life. Lasted for about 3 days and the first evening I was in agonising pain. I recommend your stomach the torture and skipping Lien Hoa for somewhere with higher standards of food hygiene.
