beautifully designed restaurant with a charming atmosphere. had breakfast and dinner twice and was impressed by aromen and love to detail! go here for the western/panish-asian kitchen, they will not be disappointed. would give this place 5 stars, but happycow doesn't leave me! (has many vegan vegetarian options, but also good meat if that tickles her imagination) View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Biang Bistro:
we crossed here from the place de lat, it was easy to find. the great and atmosphere was great, very chilled place with great decor. not much choice on the menu for hungry vegans on their trip. cost for vietnam and service fee have been added. a free tee or water and some brot with our salat can have softened the beat....but if they don't go, they will never know!. Good roast pumpkin salad fresh juice . Hard to complain . Beautiful setting .
We want to preface this review by saying that we are not fussy eaters at all. Food is one of the main reasons we came to Vietnam and we don’t dislike anything and would call ourselves adventurous eaters. So, we had high hopes when we saw the Christmas set menu and decided to choose the vegan option to shake things up. However, it took over three painstaking hours to receive all 4 courses, none of which were pleasant as they were dry, undercooked and unseasoned. We had to ask for our main several times, and when it was brought out, it was ice cold. When we sent it back to be reheated, it was brought out again, just as cold as before and featuring a hair! . It was honestly like the chef had either neglected to check the food quality and/or had never tasted vegan food in their life. We understand that this is likely a freak incident as this place has overwhelmingly positive reviews. After complaining several times, they offered free drinks as compensation, which we said wasn’t enough given how expensive the meal was $495k!!! and in the end we also received 20% off. We are backpackers who decided to treat ourselves to a pricier special occasion meal but were sadly very disappointed. On a lighter note, the ambience is great and waitstaff are incredibly trendy.
The restaurant is big and the room is really pretty. There are some vegan options listed on the menu. The staff are really very considerate and know exactly what is vegan and can help you. The food is really delicious, very tasty with fresh Da Lat products. The prices are a little higher than in Vietnamese restaurants but it makes sense with the standing of the restaurant.
There were 4 vegan choices on the menu, we had falafel plate and gnocchis. The food is very good with lots of flavors. The summer juice is a must. Plates are between 140 and 170 kvnd though, but it'r worth the price. They said they have a vegan breakfast too.
The chef received us very well and helped us with vegan options. We had a great gnocchi and falafel! A little bit pricey for vietnam pattern but it worth for the food you get! We recommend it!
