The restaurant is under new management, and both the food and service have significantly improved. Thank you, everyone! Food: 5/5
This restaurant was a total letdown. I ordered three cachapas, and they tried to charge me $90! When the cachapas arrived, they were far from delicious. I went back inside to express my dissatisfaction, but they just told me that’s how they make them. I’ve had cachapas before, and these were really unappetizing. I won’t be returning. The service was awful; the woman had a bad attitude, and the cook didn’t seem interested in preparing anything. I even asked for a pepito, and they said they don’t make those. I left feeling very disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
A colleague recommended this Venezuelan restaurant for lunch. I tried a Malta Polar and a beef patacón, which is made with green plantains topped with shredded beef, cheese, and pico de gallo—a traditional dish from Venezuela!
I've come here a couple of times and ordered twice the steak arepa. Both times have been great. The arepa is crispy and not too dense which is a good. The steak has been well cooked to a medium being seasoned well. I could do medium rare but medium suffices. My wife got shredded beef arepa and it was excessively salty. She returned and got steak arepa and enjoyed it. The sauces for arepa sandwiches are good. I like the garlic aioli. The service good. Would be interested in trying other dishes.
Awesome freaking arepas or cachapas. If you're longing for a little taste of Venezuela, this is the spot. Reminds you of your amaita's areapas
