This is the 2nd time we've been to carter's, it's terrible, the chicken was hard, cold and burnt. I can't believe you serve your food looking and tasting like that. The food is good when it's fresh. But the worst part is waiting in line. You will sit in line for 30 minutes before you get to the window.
If you go there half the time they have none of the chicken pieces you desire! In a small county, folks travel over 10 miles only to discover nothing is available! So I have made my last trip, I will just pickup my chicken elsewhere! Not worth it!
The food here was ok, their slaw was the best thing on my tray today. I had fried chicken, fries and slaw. The biggest complaint I had was the size of the chicken. It should be illegal to kill baby chickens and serve them for meals. The atmosphere was like eating in a library it was very quiet.
