What User doesn't like about Karen’s Country Delicatessen:
One time received a sandwich in which the ham had gone bad. I brought the entire sandwich back and was given a hard time. Luckily Karen was there. She makes everything Right. The other woman that’s there has basically kept me from going back. I know I’m not the only one. This deli has undergone a change in ownership and name, but it remains a great spot for takeout and dining in.
I visit this restaurant every time I'm on the east side. They have fantastic specials and serve breakfast all day. The beverage selection is truly outstanding!
One of my favorite spots to kick off a day or a day trip. Their egg sandwiches are excellent, and the classic roast beef L.T.S.P.M. is outstanding as well. They’re also open to unique sandwich requests, like the FatBastard—a roast beef and chicken cutlet sandwich topped with bacon, melted mozzarella, lettuce, tomatoes, salt, pepper, and Russian dressing! It might be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it!
This local deli offers a fantastic selection of oversized sandwiches, breakfast options, and more. The service is friendly, and the prices are quite reasonable. There is also some seating available for those who wish to dine in.
I once received a sandwich with spoiled ham. When I took it back, I was met with a lot of resistance. Thankfully, Karen was there to help; she really knows how to make things right. Unfortunately, another staff member's attitude has put me off from returning. I can't be the only one who feels this way. I decided to give the place another shot this morning, but I couldn’t even place an order because the phone just kept ringing. A note to the staff: without your customers, your business won't survive, so it's crucial to treat them well. I've given this restaurant multiple chances, but I won't be coming back again. It’s truly a hit or miss experience, especially with the attitude you receive.
