**Restaurant Review: A Mixed Culinary Experience**
Nestled in Custer, this restaurant showcases an intriguing blend of reviews. While some diners rave about delightful dishes like Chicken Oscar and Philly Cheesesteak, others lament rubbery prime rib and lackluster service. Notably, the restaurant’s friendly staff and attentive service frequently receive praise, enhancing the overall dining experience. Menu highlights include fresh salads, Walleye specials, and homemade ranch dressing; however, some guests feel portion sizes don’t justify the prices. With an engaging owner and exceptional service, this eatery may be worth a visit, but expectations for food quality should be tempered. Perfect for a casual stop during your travels.

We had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich topped with potatoes and gravy, while I ordered the Kollosul? shrimp dinner, which came with a potato and a dinner salad. Everything was delicious! The service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this place! View all feedback.

This is the first of many restaurant reviews to come as I make my way coast to coast in the U.S and give my first hand opinions to the world on what exactly we're being served up! View all feedback.

Good food and excellent service. I'll definitely eat here again if/when I'm ever in the area.
Possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had. I ordered the Hot Prime Combo. Prime rib sandwich basically. The prime rib was rubbery and appeared to have been microwaved. The mashed potatoes and gravy were cold. Ordered the sautéed mushrooms and onions. Got maybe 4 mushrooms and sautéed red onions. That should be stated on the menu. The waitress was competent but the food was horrible. Pretty sure I’ll never be back.
Total hole in the wall joint with really good Walleye specials! Staff was very nice, accommodating friendly but our table service was slow. Clean bathrooms! Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and table spacing is ADA compliant

Our server was exceptional, providing invaluable assistance with our menu choices. We opted for the in-season trout along with a variety of other delightful dishes. We also ordered martinis, and the owner personally brought them to our table, which was a nice touch. This place is truly a landmark, thanks to its wonderful staff and the beautiful owners who were so friendly and engaging during our visit. Thank you for being such gracious hosts and making my South Dakota experience so memorable. This is a destination worth visiting and driving to!
We travel all the way from Wyoming to dine here. The service and drinks are excellent, and the food is fantastic. I particularly enjoy the salad bar in the spring and autumn.
The prime rib and royal crab legs were fantastic! We received some of the best service and food I've ever experienced. The drinks were great, and the wine list was impressive. You can order a glass of any wine on the list. The prices were reasonable, and if you mention where you're staying, you get a free glass of beer or wine with your dinner—what a great deal! This place is definitely better than most in Custer.
We live in the area and are so excited for their salad bar!! I believe the owner makes them and we know first hand that lots of locals cannot wait for fall to partake of it. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and know the Tall waitress . We love her.

Carla is an exceptional waitress – attentive and welcoming throughout our visit! The infused cinnamon apple and orange liquors were delightful. The fish and chips were excellent, and the hash brown casserole was also fantastic. Yummy's house made a great ranch dressing as well. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, but I felt the entrees were a bit overpriced considering the portion sizes. Nevertheless, the service and the food were definitely thumbs up!
We came across this restaurant while driving through Custer and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Chicken Oscar, and it was delicious. The waitress was very friendly, which is something that's rare to find these days. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.
