Eating surrounded by an amphitheater of snow-capped mountains, with the slopes unfolding right before your eyes, is priceless. The atmosphere is typical of high-altitude refuges: authentic, welcoming, and with a touch of liveliness provided by the skiers and hikers who populate the surrounding slopes.
