We loved Urpi!! We were craving pizza when we got back from our Machu Picchu hike, and they were near enough to our hotel we thought we'd try them, and it was sooo good! They even gave us some complimentary garlic bread. It's been a couple weeks and I still dream about this pizza. Great little place too, we sat downstairs and the pizza over and bar was a nice cozy feel. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Price per person: PEN 10–20
We ate Peruvian food on our trip but had to have Pizza too. We have our own wood fired oven so our standards may be high. URPI does an excellent job. This is a small family run place and the pizza is outstanding.
We had the special, S30 for a family size pizza, garlic bread and a jug of juice. It was all really delicious, the best pizza we’ve had in 8 weeks in Peru. Staff are great, food is awesome.
I was feeling a little ill from altitude and wanted to eat somewhere close to the hotel. We stumbled across this restaurant, tucked away a little on the backstreets. We decided to give it a go as the menu was extensive. I ordered the potato in peanut sauce as it sounded safe for my stomach as well as a little different. it was lovely and we even got free garlic bread to start! Lovely little restaurant that felt local and friendly
I enjoyed this restaurant! It is warm, colorful, and well-decorated. It has a variety of food options, from pasta to traditional Peruvian and all is more affordable than more touristy Peruvian restaurants. The pasta was delicious. Also, it is located right off the central Plaza de Armas. My only complaint, the bathroom was very dirty and didn't have soap. Remember, when traveling in Cusco, always bring your own soap and T.P with you. Otherwise, I really liked this restaurant.
