Went there based on TA and Lonely planet reviews. Food is excellent but waitress is so confused it ruined an overall good experience. We entered, sat at the table and received english menus. We immediately ordered beers and than the wait started. She decided her time could be better spent by standing next to another table where people just arrived. So we were sitting there, waiting for our beers for cca 10 minutes. Even the owner went to that other table (still no beers and no taking order for food). We were on the urge to stand up and leave when the owner arrived and took our order (no beers :)). After additional 10 minutes we received them (beers not food :)). During all that time waitress was running around like headless chicken. Finally the food arrived as well. Portions are huge and this is a typical Peruvian restaurant (my husband ordered without having any knowledge and he was quite surprised) but overall food is good, portions are enormous and you will not leave hungry. Just prepare yourself to wait
Empezó a llover y nos metimos a este restaurante justo cuando estaban cerrando. Los dueños muy amables nos recibieron y nos prepararon una exquisita sopita criolla que me hizo recordar la sazón de mi mamá... Muy rica comida, a precios accesibles.Lo que mejoraría sería un poco la pintura del local. Necesita modernización.
We stopped here for a quick lunch, and we greatly enjoyed the quick service and simple but delicious food. We had two lamb stews, which were delicious. The waiter was also very patient and friendly. Recommend this for all.
