If you want to eat something light forma dinner in this placer you can find very nice pizza made in wood oven . the menú also offers a variety of local dishes. Good location just half a block from main square (plaza de armas). Prices are not cheap (medium size pizza around 30 soles) but fine if you compare with other restaurants in the área. What SouthBankBoy doesn't like about Restaurant Pizzería Acrópolis:
There was only three people in when we entered so a table was no problem. Its a lovely little restaurant with the pizza oven in the restaurant so you can actually see them being made. Menus arrived, we quickly ordered both food and drinks. Nothing for 20 minutes then our drinks arrived. Nothing complicated just a beer and a wine. The three people on the next table who had ordered before we arrived were sitting there... View all feedback.
When we walked in a local claimed it was the best pizza in Cuzco. Didn 't go to other places so can 't compare, but this was pretty good. Nice cozy place to have some pizza. Didn 't try anything else on the menu, though there are non-pizza offerings for those who don 't like 'za! Nice and warm in the front room where the wood over is, but the back room had more light and was still warm enough. This is not deep dish pizza but rather think and crispy crust. Larges can feed quite a few (husband had 4 pieces, I had two, my aunt had 2 and we still had many pieces left over). Service was fine for us, but understand if you in the midst of a rush, they have to cook it all in the oven so it might take a while. Yum!
We wanted a change from the meat-heavy menus of Cusco. Came across this family-run place after being turned away other higher rank places restaurants. It helps if you can speak some Spanish. I got by with a phrase book. I wanted to have pasta after 10 days of a carnivorous diet. Even the higher rated Italian restaurants didn't serve pasta. These guys did. And it's freshly made. Yum! If you want to dine on high-end decor and pretension, best skip this warm and atmospheric establishment.
DELICIOUS!!!! Love the place, so cozy and really delicious! We order some pizzas and a pasta that was beyond delicious! Really recommend the visit if you want a change of Peruvian food.
I was recomended this place by locals. After being away for a while in the mountains and the jungle, i had a great dinner here. Tasty and good combination of local flavours. Only reason I dont rate 5 stars is because service could be a bit more personalized.
Just brought 2 pizzas up to the hotel for my three sons…they devoured it and in between bites were saying ‘omg mom this pizza is the bomb’ I got a soup that was very good. Sat and had a beer while I waited and the owner was very friendly, so good!
